PHENOL : 4-aminoantipyrine Method
Range: 0.5 – 10 mg/l

PRINCIPLE

The automated procedure for the determination of Phenol is based on the reaction with alkaline ferricyanide and 4-aminoantipyrine to form a red colored complex. Precipitation of dissolve calcium carbonate in the sample is avoid by the addition of EDTA.

The color intensity is measured at 500 nm
